"Dream jobs", by Ana Mª Mondéjar
Undoubletdly, the worst job for me would be my favourite job. Probably you're thinking it has not any sense but that's true. My favourite job and what I want to be when I finish my university degree is an English teacher in any high school. It would be fantastic, due to for me, it would be a dream come true. But let's imagine I'm filled of energy and illusion and I face a problem which I didn't count on: I'm not able to face a class full of teenagers due to several reasons. For example, as a young teacher, teenagers wouldn't take me seriously. That's a big deal. Apart from this, teenagers are very complicated people. I really don't know what I would act in that situation. That would be the worst nightmare for me, because I've wanted to be an English teacher since I was a kid.
Here, I show you a picture of what I've explained above.
Now, let's move on to the working conditions in around 70s. That's a very important topic for me, a pair of years ago, I decided to study deeper this topic, but focusing on women. What I discovered was something obvious, The conditions then were worse than now (that doesn't mean that now they are good). I remember in that time women could not take the highest positions in their jobs. Also, people were not registered in social security, that means if they were pregnant or they wanted a period of holidays, they couldn't. Neither, they could complain about that, because there were not good trade unions. In short, now all these things improved, but we must carry on in our progress.
Finally, I these last days I've been improving my English reading Deadly Harvest and watching TV shows like The Ellen Show, American Horror Story and reading a book called Scum Manifest.
