"Connections" by Ana Mª Mondéjar

Dear Noelia,

I'm writing this letter because some days ago since we don't talk. Apart from this, I don't know why but you turned off our phone and this is the only way I can talk to you. 

I know you want to know how I improve my English because you told me you were interested in travelling abroad. So, when I'm not in class, I'm use to doing many activities to still improving my English. Forst of all, watching TV programmes is the best option because you learn while you enjoy. I recommend you some interviews from your favourite singers or actors. Also, you can do it alone or with your family or friends. For example, me and my mother like Lady Gaga and when she is interviewed in any programme we watch it together and I think that is fantastic. 

Secondly, you can listen to music in English from different singers from different countries to learn also the different English accents. In this way, you can also discover new singers and bands. 


Finally, what I like the most is read some interesting books. A sample of one of them is is The catcher in the rye, you know, it seemed interested to me due to the story behind the murder of John Lennon. But I had so many problems to find a copy. If you know... I found a person who wanted to sell his copy on Internet, so I had to get through to this man by phone. The story is that this man didn't want to sell his book, I don't know what he wanted of me but he started to call me everyday at everytime and I was really scared of him. Then, I decided not to picked up the phone. Fortunately, this story finished and I forgot this man.

Undobutful, the worst job I can imagine is being a slaughterer and work in a slaugtherhouse. I love animals, so killing them with economic purposes would be crazy to me and really really inmoral. Dear all,  This week I'll talk about how I improve my English writing. I have to say that I am an University student, that means I'm always learning, so I consider I'll give you some pieces of advice that you will find useful. First of all, we must ask, what makes writing so important? The answer is simple; One the one hand, writing is the way someone knows what you think or who you are as a person. On the other hand, it helps us to keep informed, in this way, you can learn about new fields, and also, you can improve your English level; I mean, you will know more about vocabulary and different grammar structures. Nowadays, this is a really important question. All of us need to know to write well because this is important to understand us each other. Today I will show you some tricks to improve. First of all, I think about what I want to write and I try to do a brainstorm to clarify my ideas. Next, I always read some infromation in websites to solve any doubts and learn much more vocabulary. After that, I start writing doing changes and trying to put correct sentences to understand the text correctly.
