I think that the meaning of colours is something that comes from social conventions. Advertisement and media have let a big footprint on our lives and way of living, and colours are a great example of it. Who does not associate Coca Cola with red colour, or apple with the white one? The meaning of colours is directly derivated from what brands have typically associated the colours with. In this image we can appreciate a red landscape formed by leaves of trees, as it seems in autumn season because of the colour. The picture may have been taken in a forest full of this kind of trees. This week in order to improve my English I've joined the "Buddy Program" from the UMU and I am waiting for an English speaker buddy to start practising!

Film: "To the Bone" The last emotional production of Netflix show us a hidden reality for many. The protagonist of the film is a girl suffering from anorexia and the film shows her constant fight against it. Some details such as she measuring her arms constantly and eating habits help us to be able to identify some of this habits in real life, and allow us to identify the disorder in people around us. But showing the face of the story from the protagonist as well as the face from the surrounding people's attitude is an important step to be considered. In the story we are encouraged to understand how difficult is that disease, as we know that food is something such important for us that is necessary to keep living and that having a problem with it is something not easily forgetable. Carolina Herrera show us her concerns and steps to be followed. First Fitting Fashion is a competition between many designers in the world. Every summer she works on the next summer/spring collection. Materials are really inspiring for her, but she also thinks that inspiration is found everywhere. Last holidays she visited England, Grece and Italy, where colors and situations inspired her deeply. She has her own ateliers and she prints her own prints, that way she can control all the process and make any necesary changes along it. Final fitting At that time, everything makes sense together.   This three programs of studying abroad would have many different advantages to me. At first, learning a language, and definitely one of the most important ones. To be immersed in a environment with a new language is one of the best ways to learn it. Also, you would be culturally immersed and you wil see new ways of living, what would definitely help you to find yourself. It is something obvious, that it will also give a plus on your curriculum and you start giving a direction to your future. In fact, I think that every single oportunity to go and study abroad have many advantages for everyone and that is why any of them should be discarded.
